Swamiji New Year 2021 Highlights
Let us be thankful for protection from the divine. (Context: Protection from bad occurrences including falling sick from the corona virus) There are those who didn’t get to see the sun rise. We will talk about the things to look out for and things we need to be mindful of in the coming year. There is a need for being part of a collectivity because when we are, we are connected with constructive forces. In these circumstances, we can do so by watching video clippings of past events on youtube. When we engage in practice of Samarpan Meditation, we get an opportunity to unite with positive souls by virtue of the traits which are inculcated in it. (Some may dub it as eternal wisdom). If ever, we find ourselves fraught with tension, we can connect with those hundred thousand souls who are part of this collectivity through such videos. By doing so, our tensions will melt because we will be linked with such a huge volume of people who are not tense.
Meditate every day for 30 minutes before leaving the house for your well-being. Tell the powers that be (or God) you are going to be leaving and pray for protection. Earlier in the December 2020 mega- workshops which went on, Swamiji spoke of how to vibrate water to help for healing to happen I in people. Swamiji clarified some points regarding this here. When people try to vibrate water for healing or for helping oneself or others feel replenished, it is presumed that the person’s soul’s eye or sense of conscious awareness or focus is pure. If such a sense of conscious awareness is not present, the person can alternatively try vibrating water in front of the subtle body photo. But this will work providing the person doing this has faith in this idea. If neither of these ideas work, keep a small subtle body photo in your pocket when you are out if this makes you feel good as it is linked with a great collectivity.
Also, you don’t need to vibrate using your hands. If you just stare into the water and chant the old mantra Om Shree Shivkrupananda Swami Namo Namah 3 times, the quality of the water will change. It’s about the energy you are throwing into the water even if you are just staring at it while being in the middle of a meeting. As you drink it, you will be rejuvenated. Why not start such a practice today? See for yourself. You can email Guru Tattva with your feedback on how you find doing this continually. The Samarpan team is preparing a research paper on this so the feedback people will give can help with this. What ultimately counts is the amount of faith you put into vibrating the water.
The danger is not yet over. One must still be careful with the prevalence of the corona virus. Accidents happen when we let down our guard. So take precautions. Try to avoid crowds as much as possible. Try staying in seclusion or solitude which also goes a long way towards enhancing one’s aura and therefore a fighting power will illnesses or a heightened immunity. It is because of our liver that our spiritual state gets imbalanced. The idea that “I should have this or that” affects our navel chakra or energy points which go along our navel area. When Swamiji once went to Agra, he found some very beautiful art. Though it was expensive, Swamiji still took the time to tell the painter how much he appreciated it instead of being resentful because he couldn’t afford something. He said ‘ I am so happy ancient art still thrives because of people like you. I really enjoyed this.’ The painter said how happy he was to hear this. He said many people buy the art but few like Swamiji had such a perspective to appreciate the significance of what the artist did.
Appreciate beauty. God has made such beautiful artists or singers or whatever else have you. Remember God for creating such figures and their works. These are means by which to remember God. When we think otherwise, it has a bad effect on our liver which therein spoils our chakras or energy centres. Thank people for what they do. It instills a sense of gratitude within us.
When we say things with gratitude, it expands out aura. The happier we are, the more our aura will expand and therefore the healthier we will be. Jolly doctors have better patient recoveries because they don’t let their patients wallow in sadness. A sad artist can never paint a happy subject. If you want your future to be bright and safe and filled with cheer, you need to be cheerful in the moment. Each present moment dictates your future moments. You are likely to be happy in the future when you are happy in the present. The bricks of the present form the buildings of the future.
Be happy and cheerful. We can be so when we are in the presence of constructive people. Try to avoid toxic people or those who think negatively all the time. Swamiji said he never fought with anyone in his life. If he came across potentially contentious people, he would always ask for forgiveness and step away.
Love. As you love, your aura expands and therefore gives you protection from bad occurrences. Love shouldn’t be an exercise of tit for tat or loving as though it were something to measure. Love should be unconditional and not for what you can use the person for in return for an act of love. When you love, don’t love with an expectation of what you will get in return for having done so. If you do something for someone, you will have it returned. It may not be through the person you did the favor for but you may get that favor returned through someone else. Things will come full circle because the world is round. (Or what goes around comes around). We need to change our habits and perspectives. A good aura will stay with us when we do.
The upcoming year will be a time for spiritual revolutions and teaching us new lessons. May you all undergo a spiritual revolution in the upcoming year. Now we will meditate. God grant us the capacity to go into a deep spiritual state.
(After some meditation)
We are blessed to see the sunrise. Please keep blessing us for continually seeing it dear God.
This year dear God, please grant us protection. Please grant us protection. Please grant us protection.
