🌺 Today I found a letter dated19:8:1998 🌺

Today, in an old bag I found a letter I had written to Guruma during my travels in the Himalayas. It is possible that the sadhaks may get some new information and you come to realise at what level we both used to talk amongst ourselves at that time. You come to know the relation between prayer and the 'brain', and you yourself can obtain the spiritual experience of Paramatma.

It is said that there is great power in prayer and a prayer rendered from the heart is always fulfilled - what is the proof for this statement?

Generally, man is always concerned with himself - he only sees his own problems, pain. Because of that, as much attention as he focuses on those problems, to that extent his problems increase - suddenly he himself is providing fodder to his problems. Mainly, prayer should be offered from a state of thoughtlessness, meaning - there should be no worry, fear, greed, nor our selfishness in it; and prayer should always be for good counsel, because he has good counsel man will always find a way out of all situations. And when man prays for good counsel, then the waves emanating from his chitta reach his brain (you can check this individually). I have done this and got the experience and when the waves reach the brain, then it gathers more momentum and when it becomes faster, then it provides an excellent solution to any problematic situation, because the brain is the most important part of the body. Those who manage to control this are called 'mad' by the world - meaning praying for good counsel means conveying our own consciousness to our brain.

When you pray to Lord Ganesh asking for a 'particular' thing, your navel chakra gets affected, meaning as your chitta focuses on the navel chakra, you realise that  the speed of the navel chakra has reduced drastically. This means that praying for oneself means creating barriers to our divine energy.

And as you start praying for the welfare of the world, the divine energy within you starts increasing, because by doing this your sentiments related to world's welfare are awakened and then connect to that formless God. In short, your Godly/divine sense is awakened - this is the main difference between man and animal - that man can pray for the world. And when you pray for the world, you knowingly-unknowingly accept that you are a part of that formless God, and once you accept that, then that God's divine energy starts flowing through you, and once it starts flowing then it does all the work by itself. And that's why, when you pray to God, pray for good counsel, and then the brain automatically receives vibrations and you get the good sense to do the right work at the right time. And on doing the appropriate work at the appropriate time we become successful in life.
