Shivkrupanand Swami

“I am a family person. I have sons, daughters and grandchildren. The knowledge of my guru has transferred to me. My guru wanted the whole world to experience the knowledge that he had. He wanted normal people to experience this. I have this pure with to give knowledge to people,” said Swami
Swami related a parable of a mountain and everyone wants to reach the top of this mountain.
“There is one person who really wants to reach the top of a huge mountain. And when he reached the top, he didn’t stay there but came down. While coming down he made a road and removed all the stones from the path and made a big gate. So he gave directions to others how to get to the top of the mountain since he knew how to reach the top.
It is a straight way that gets you to the top. So a lot of people listened to him, and the way he pointed out became a highway. There are many other ways to get to the top of the mountain but this particular way was traveled by most of the people. The soil of the road of this mountain and the other roads has no difference. But this particular road was traveled by a lot of people. So at the physical level we all have no difference. That is the only difference between you and me,” pointed out Swami
The reason Swami did not come to Sri Lanka all this time was because he felt that the environment was not suitable for meditation. Now he feels that there is a positive environment in Sri Lanka.
“This form of meditation has been accepted by the whole world. It has centers around the world. It transcends all barriers. It can be studied by anyone in this world,” stated Swami
When he was five years old he understood that he was not a normal person. He always thought he was a pure and holy soul. He made this his chant. The chant is - I am a pure soul and a holy soul.
“Our form of meditation can be practiced by people of different religions and races in any country. Meditation is the only way one human can get connected to another human. When you live in the same society, how can one discriminate by saying – ‘I am a better person than him or her?’ We are all the same people. So my guru sent me out to teach this form of meditation. Religion or caste are no barriers. Even every government wants their country to be free of conflict. Meditation can stop political riots and discrimination through the development of the mind,” explained Swami.
Swami says that when you have experienced God, when you reach the top, it does not matter what religion you have come from. You are above the religion.
“When a person talks about religion he has not experienced God yet. Just like how we issue a driving license to everyone when they take a driving test, we must issue the religious gurus in this world a license of the aura. So if there is a person calling himself a spiritual saint, according to the aura he must be given the license. That too is benefiting. Because if there is a downfall of one particular guru, then the followers feel as though they have been let down. The Guru also does not realize that his state is declining,” added Swami
There is a danger when the guru leaves his personal practice and only starts teaching meditation to the people.
“Because he has no practice of his own, the negative energies of the people come to him. Whether your followers are meditating or not, you should always meditate. It is like an account - If you keep withdrawing and withdrawing ultimately you will be in debt,” warns Swami.
Swami himself goes into isolation to renew depleted energy.
“I go into isolation for 45 days. I receive energy from the Universal consciousness. I recently went to the UK to get a new photo of my aura. Even if you live in society and have a family you can still have a good state of meditation. Some people think that you can only progress spiritually if you leave your house and go to the Himalayas, but I wish to say that you can still live in society and progress spiritually,” declares Swami.
During his recent trip to the UK in July a professional aura photo (Photo of the electromagnetic field or bio field of the body) depicting the spiritual state of a person was taken.
In his photo, Swami’s aura is bathed in white and light violet color which indicates a deep spiritual state of one who has transcended all physical/bodily feelings. The violet light indicates the ability to receive energy from the universe, and the white light indicates the ability to provide unlimited healing energy automatically to those who come within the range of his aura.
“The aura will signify that the person has received the state of Moksha or salvation/ liberation. When I took my aura photograph, the photographer was bewildered. He asked me – ‘How is it possible that you are still alive? The report shows zero feelings of the physical/bodily state?’ but I don’t stay in that state all the time,” elucidated Swami.
Swami wants everyone to learn what he has learnt. To receive what he has received. Whenever people receive what he has received he feels happy. When you meditate, you receive an experience and that makes you happy.
“We do not depend on anyone for happiness. We get the happiness from inside. I will tell you what universal consciousness is. In spirituality the main hurdle is god. When I was young my grandmother said God is immortal. He was there yesterday, he is there today and he will be there tomorrow. There is no human being who is immortal. Since then I have been searching for God. And in that search I reached Himalaya. I reached Himalaya and met my guru and when my guru gave me my experience – that day was the day I stopped searching for God. And then my inward journey started,” informs Swami.
God is a universal consciousness. The medium which he used to receive the universal consciousness became the God. Since then his spiritual progress began.
You can just add Samarpan meditation to your life. You don’t have to give up anything to adopt this meditation technique. You can carry on with your life as usual, whatever you have been doing - eating and drinking. A part of God is present in everyone and God is the Universal consciousness. Samarpan meditation guides you to connect this divine experience to your life.
“The deeper you go into the practice of ‘being with your soul’, the more you start receiving guidance from within yourself: What you need to do in life and what you should not. All through our life we try to get to know and understand other people, but we never try to get to know ourselves,” shared Swami.
