Whatever sadhana(prolonged Meditation) that Guru does when in physical body, its energy exist even after the death of physical body and a subtle body is created from it. Normally this happens when a Guru departs from the physical body, may be 25 - 30 years of the physical body's death this subtle body will be formed. There are many subtle bodies in the universe but to give any form to the subtle body you need a connection in the physical form. In past these two bodies never exist together. Physical body has got its limitation and it cannot go beyond this limitation. Subtle body can exist in any part of the world and anyone can be connected to it.
